Homework Policy
Where: Homework is handed in by placing the assignment(s) in
the homework bin. The grey tower
on the teacher’s desk is the homework bin. Each bin is labeled according to the
class label (8A, 8B, or 7C). Late: Points will be deducted for assignments turned in
late. Points vary depending on the
project: Workbook pages and
other small assignment -two points. Larger assignments -five
points. Absences: It is the student’s responsibility to hand in
homework after he or she has returned to school. Students must also check the absentee
bin to check for papers handed out during an absence. Write it down: The teacher will spend the last five minutes of class
to review the homework, which is also written down on the back
whiteboard. It is the student’s
responsibility to write down the assignment(s). Assignments can also be found on the
homework hotline ext 773.
