1.
Students must raise their hand and wait to be called upon
by the teacher before speaking in class.
2.
Students must respect others in the classroom and remain
quiet at their seats working while others may be talking or working in a
group.
3.
Students must keep their desk and cubby neat and
orderly.
4.
Students may sharpen their pencils and go and get a drink
without permission, the first thing in the morning before the morning
announcements and during the day when the teacher is not giving a lesson or
someone else is speaking to the class.
5.
Students may use any material on the top shelf of the cart
without permission. Other shelves need permission from the teacher.
6.
Students are to go to their cubbies first thing in the
morning, before lunch, after lunch, and at the end of the day. At other
times they will need the teacher’s permission.
7.
Students must sign out on the clip board near the
teacher’s desk to leave the room to go to the bathroom, nurse, or office.
Students may only sign out once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
They must take the appropriate pass with them when they leave the room.
Bathroom Break is noted on the schedule.
8.
Students may only do their written work in pencil and
correcting in red pen.
9.
Students must have material to read with them when they
complete an assignment and may do so when assignment is completed.
10.
Students may not use computers unless given permission or
for a class assignment.
11. Students may wish to
use the brown table to do their work when given permission by the teacher.
12.
Students may bring a HEALTHY snack and keep in their desk
to eat at snack time.
13.
Students may bring a water bottle to school and keep on
their desk to use when needed.
